The REACH regulation by the European parliament sets standards in the registration, use and limits of chemical substances. For all MYRIX stock items we transfer a financial climate contribution – we support regional projects in Germany by planting and maintaining trees in cooperation with ClimatePartner. Der Anteil von Recycling Papieren in der Produktion ist in den letzten Jahren gestiegen, wir erwarten, dass die Industrie auch in Zukunft einen deutlich gesteigerten Wert auf nachhaltige Materialien legt. Dem werden wir mit neuen, innovativen Materialien wie z.B. Silphie Papier, gerecht. Wir sind als Unternehmen FSC® zertifiziert und bieten die Möglichkeit eines finanziellen Klimabeitrages, hierzu sind wir Partner von ClimatePartner. Zur CO2 Kompensation unterstützen wir Baumpflanzprojekte über ClimatePartner. Auch kurze Lieferwege sind durch Produktionsstandorte in Deutschland und Zentraleuropa gegeben. Alle MYRIX Lagermodelle sind aus FSC® zertifizierten Papieren und leisten einen finanziellen Klimabeitrag. Sonderproduktionen nach Kundenwunsch werden zu einem hohen Anteil mit Recycling Papieren umgesetzt. Gerne realisieren wir auch upcycling Projekte mit unseren Kunden. The amount of recycled paper in production has increased in recent years, and we expect that the industry will continue to place much greater emphasis on sustainable materials in the future. We comply with this market trend by offering new, innovative materials such as Silphie paper and more. We as a company are FSC® certified and offer the possibility of a financial climate contribution, for which we are a partner of ClimatePartner. Through ClimatePartner we support tree planting projects for CO2 compensation. Short delivery routes are guaranteed through production locations in Germany and Central Europe. All MYRIX stock models are made of FSC® certified paper and with a financial climate contribution. Special productions according to customer requirements are realized with recycled papers to a large extent. We are also happy to realize upcycling projects with our customers. 14 INDIVIDUELLE NOTIZBÜCHER AUS RECYCLINGPAPIER INDIVIDUAL NOTEBOOKS MADE OF RECYCLING PAPER Sustainability does not need to be boring – most of our products do not look like they are made of recycling paper. The times of brown and grey recycling paper are over, sustainability can be modern and bright. Nachhaltigkeit muss nicht langweilig sein – vielen unserer Produkte sieht man nicht an, dass sie aus Recycling Papier gefertigt wurden. Vorbei sind die Zeiten von braunem und grauen Recycling Papier, es geht deutlich moderner.
15 NACHHALTIGKEIT IST EINE VERANTWORTUNG, DIE WIR ALLE LEBEN MÜSSEN MYRIX bietet neben Produkten aus 100% Recyclingpapier und FSC® zertifizierten Papieren natürlich auch Notizbücher aus Graspapier. Als Graspapier bezeichnet man ein zellstoffbasiertes Produkt, bei dem – neben Frischfaser aus Holz oder Altpapier – ein signifikanter Anteil aus Grasfasern besteht (mindestens 30 %). 19 WAS IST SILPHIE PAPIER ? Die Silphie Pflanze wird in Deutschland bereits seit mehreren Jahren angebaut und bislang als Energiepflanze zur Produktion von Strom, Gas und Wärme genutzt. Nun werden die Fasern auch als Holzersatz (35%) für die Herstellung von Kartonagen und Papier verwendet. Die Silphie-Fasern verleihen dem Papier seine bräunliche Optik und die natürliche Haptik. WHAT IS SILPHIE PAPER? The Silphie plant has been cultivated in Germany for several years and was previously used as an energy crop for producing electricity, gas, and heat. Now, the fibers are also used as a wood substitute (35%) in the production of cardboard and paper. The Silphie fibers give the paper its natural brownish appearance and unique texture. 19
