What is Silphie paper?
The Silphie plant has been cultivated in Germany for several years and has so far been used as an energy crop for the production of electricity, gas and heat.
The fibers are also used as a wood substitute (35%) for the production of cardboard and paper. The Silphie fibers give the paper its brownish appearance and natural feel.
